My Story…
This summer, we are lacing up our sneakers once again to run the Falmouth Road Race—our second year taking on this incredible challenge together. But for us, it’s about much more than the miles.
We’re running in support of Road to Responsibility, a program that means so much to our family. Our nephew and cousin, Matthew, is part of this amazing community, which provides essential services and opportunities for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Through their work, Matthew and so many others are empowered to live fuller, more independent lives.
Seeing firsthand the impact this organization has had on Matthew inspires us every single day. That’s why we’re committed to running not just for the finish line, but for him—and for everyone who benefits from Road to Responsibility’s care and support.

Since 1988, Road to Responsibility has been Making Lives Better for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. Our mission is to provide the means, the opportunity, and the support necessary to allow citizens with disabilities to take their place as productive members of the community.
Together with your support of our Falmouth Road Race team, we provide a home, a job, therapeutic services, and most importantly, a community for individuals with disabilities.
