Welcome animal lovers! I’m running in the 2026 Falmouth Road Race as a member of the MSPCA-Angell Team (Boston, MA). I’m raising funds for the MSPCA, where their goal is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society. Your donation will help the MSPCA continue their life-saving work! This cause is near and dear to my heart, and your support would mean the world. This year I have the pleasure of running the race with my fellow pet parent Sunny!

Many of you know how important animal rescue is to me, as my rabbit Apple Jacks was adopted 6 years ago by Sunny and I from MSPCA-Angell. The MSPCA has treated Apple Jacks with the best care in many emergencies. That’s why I’m running in the Falmouth Road Race for him and raising funds to help other pets get the care they need and get adopted!

About the MSPCA:
Founded in 1868, MSPCA-Angell is the second-oldest humane society in the United States and a national leader in animal protection and veterinary medicine. As a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the MSPCA-Angell receives no government funding — it relies entirely on the generosity of animal lovers like you. 

The MSPCA's work spans four Animal Care and Adoption Centers (Boston, Methuen, Cape Cod, and Salem), the Angell Animal Medical Center hospitals in Boston and Waltham, low-cost community clinics, a Law Enforcement Department that investigates animal cruelty, and an Advocacy team that fights for stronger animal protection laws in Massachusetts.

Your donation makes an incredible impact. In 2024 alone, the MSPCA-Angell:

-Found homes for 11,069 animals through adoption, reunification, and surrender prevention

-Provided care during 110,000 patient visits, including 30,158 emergency cases

-Performed 9,515 spay/neuter surgeries and administered 44,903 life-saving vaccines 

-Healed 1,116 animals in foster care thanks to volunteers and supporters
