Why I'm running in support of AAFA New England

My name is Max Reinhardt, and I have had a severe dairy allergy my entire life. I recently graduated from the College of the Holy Cross, where I majored in Biology and minored in Neuroscience while on the Pre-Med track. I was also a member of the Men's Rugby Team. In addition, I have research experience at Mass General directly related to food allergies.

Back during my first month at Holy Cross, I had an accidental exposure which resulted in severe anaphylaxis and an emergency room trip. This sort of situation is not uncommon for people with food allergies, and funding for the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America can help to improve these types of situations, and prevent accidents such as these from happening in the future.

I am excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race for the third time in support of AAFANE. Thank you in advance for any donations, they are much appreciated and will make a difference.
