I’m a proud mom of two and a native Cape Codder who deeply believes in the power of community. Living on Cape Cod has taught me that when someone is going through a hard time, we show up for each other. That’s exactly why raising money for Cape Wellness Collaborative means so much to me.
Cape Wellness Collaborative is an incredible organization that provides access to alternative and integrative therapies for people facing a cancer diagnosis. From massage and acupuncture to nutrition support and other healing services, they help make an unimaginably difficult time just a little bit easier for those navigating cancer and its treatments.
My connection to this mission is personal. A coworker, employee, and friend of mine was able to receive services through Cape Wellness during their cancer journey. I had the chance to see firsthand how meaningful and supportive these services were. In moments when someone is facing one of the hardest diagnoses imaginable, having access to care that supports their comfort, healing, and overall well-being makes an enormous difference.
Seeing the impact of Cape Wellness Collaborative up close made me realize how important this organization is for people in our community. Their work helps patients feel supported, cared for, and less alone during a time when life can feel incredibly overwhelming. I am proud to be running for this charity for the second year in a row and I will continue to as long as they will have me. Its great to get off the sidelines and directly help those around me.
My goal with this fundraiser is simple: to raise as much money as possible for this amazing organization so they can continue helping people on Cape Cod who are navigating cancer. Every dollar raised helps provide therapies that bring comfort, relief, and a little more light into someone’s life during a very difficult journey.

Description
Cape Wellness Collaborative's (CWC) mission is to help residents of Cape Cod and the Islands who are facing cancer feel better through integrative therapies, nourishing meals, and emotional support services.
Integrative therapies like massage, acupuncture, yoga, and more can significantly ease the physical and emotional side effects of cancer treatment and recovery. Yet most of these therapies are not covered by insurance, making them inaccessible to many when they’re needed most.
CWC bridges that gap. We connect individuals facing cancer with trusted, local practitioners who provide integrative care—and we cover the cost. Our model keeps care close to home, compassionate, and accessible.
Today, we serve approximately 1,100 people each year. Through our Wellness Eats program, we’ve also provided more than 18,000 handcrafted, nourishing meals to clients and caregivers across our community. We also host monthly support group meetings at our HQ in South Yarmouth.
Our goal is simple and deeply meaningful: to help people feel better—physically, emotionally, and holistically—while navigating cancer.
