My Story…
I am running in support of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA-Angell), where I have worked as a board-certified ophthalmologist for over 17 years. This will be my first Falmouth road race! I completed the Boston Marathon in 2020 (deferred to that Fall) as a charity runner for Team With A Vision, and am an avid runner.
The opportunity to support the amazing work that the MSPCA performs was too good to pass up for me. Please consider making a donation. Your money will go directly to the MSPCA, to support our non-profit work of rescuing, rehoming, and supporting animals throughout our network of shelters and hospitals.
Here, I am pictured with Scampi, my adopted dog that we fostered and then adopted from the MSPCA when she was rescued from a terrible situation, a colony of over 4000 Beagles. She had to lose most of her teeth, so her tongue sticks out, and sometimes she pees on the floor because she learned late about the existence of the "outside", but she is the most incredible dog:

Here are my 2 one-eyed cats, Misthunter and Mossflower, adopted separately from the MSPCA shelters in Boston and Salem, MA:

Without the incredible work the MSPCA performs, these and thousands of other animals would have had an uncertain future.
We also support families in need of financial assistance as they care for their beloved animal companions, which is ever so critical in this time of inflationary healthcare costs.
Thank you so much for supporting the work of the MSPCA - Angell Animal Medical Center!
