My Story…
Welcome to my fund raising page. I am running to raise funds for the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts. In November, 2020 my son Jake was hit by a car while crossing the street and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Our family will never forget that night. After three weeks in a coma and an additional week at Brigham and Women's Jake spent three weeks at Spaulding Rehab center. During that time we felt relief that Jake would recover but never knew how far he would come.
With the support of all of the doctors, nurses, various therapies, and studies Jake has been able to live a great life. He is able to work in a job he loves and is married to a fabulous person who is the love of his life.
Jake will never be the same as before the accident but with his hard work every single day and the help of the research and support that BIA-MA has provided through his doctors and therapists he is thriving!
Please consider donating so that other families will be able to benefit from all that the BIA-MA does for people with traumatic brain injuries.
