Hey there!

I’m excited (and honestly a little surprised myself) to be running the Falmouth Road Race this year as part of the Special Olympics Massachusetts Xtra Mile Team.

As someone who spends most of their time planning road races rather than running them, this is a bit of a role reversal—but one I’m really proud to take on.

My connection to Special Olympics dates back to my time at Bryant University, where I was involved in planning initiatives with Special Olympics Rhode Island and supported Unified Sports programs. That experience stuck with me, and since moving to Boston, I’ve been lucky to stay involved—helping plan events like the Jolly Jaunt and serving on the Young Professionals Board for Special Olympics Massachusetts.

Through both my personal and professional life, I’ve seen firsthand the impact this organization has in creating inclusive communities and empowering athletes of all abilities.

The Falmouth Road Race is also personal to me. My dad grew up in Falmouth and even ran it a few times. Getting the chance to run it now, while supporting a cause I care deeply about, makes it even more meaningful.

I’m proud to be running on behalf of Special Olympics Massachusetts and raising funds to support their incredible athletes and programs.

If you’re able to contribute, thank you—it truly means a lot. And if not, I’ll just need your moral support to get me through those 7 miles.
