My Story…
Emergency medicine has been the backdrop of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a mother who was an ER/ Trauma ICU nurse who also served as a U.S. Army Flight Medic and a father who was a Firefighter Paramedic, I didn't just hear about this career—I saw it in action. I remember being a spectator at scene calls where my dad was working and watching Boston MedFlight land; seeing that level of precision and critical care firsthand is exactly what sparked my own path.
Now, as an ER Tech and nursing student, I’ve found my own place in that fast-paced world. I’m at my best when things get unpredictable, and I’ve learned how to stay calm and work seamlessly with a team in the ED. My ultimate goal is to become a Flight Nurse, and supporting the Falmouth Road Race alongside the Boston MedFlight crew feels like a full-circle moment. I’m excited to jump in, contribute within my scope, and learn from the team that represents the level of excellence I’ve been aiming for since I was a kid.
