My Story…
I’m truly honored to run my 4th Falmouth Road Race on behalf of Boston MedFlight this year. They are an incredible nonprofit critical care transport organization that brings the expertise and resources of a hospital ICU directly to patients wherever they are and whenever they need it.
This mission means the absolute world to me as my mother needed and received critical support this past February after an internal bleeding emergency. Boston MedFlight not only transported her in a quick manner, but they’re also the ones who kept her alive and stable during the most vulnerable times where every second counted.
My family and I will be forever grateful for the four men of that MedFlight crew that helped saved our mother’s life that Tuesday morning.
Boston MedFlight provides more than $7 million in free and reimbursed care every year, ensuring that no patient is ever turned away. They use state-of-the-art fleet that includes 7 Airbus H145 helicopters and over a dozen mobile ICU ground vehicles, all equipped with the same advanced technology and medical capabilities found in the top hospital ICU’s.
Please consider donating to Boston MedFlight today!! Every step we take and every dollar raised helps ensure that the crews can continue responding to those in greatest need when it matters the most, just like my mom!!
