Hey there!
This year, I will be running the Falmouth Road Race for the first time. I’ve always admired the energy and passion behind this race on the sideline, so I’m excited (and a little nervous) to finally be in it!
My connection to Special Olympics goes back to 7th grade, when I first started volunteering. What began as a way to give back quickly became something that shaped my life. In high school, I was proud to be part of the very first Unified Track & Field team at Natick High School, an experience that showed me firsthand the power of inclusion and teamwork.
When I got to Providence College, I joined the Special Olympics College Club. Alongside a few of my peers, I helped rebuild the program, ultimately transitioning it into a club sport. That shift brought greater funding, stronger recognition from the school, and most importantly, more opportunities. We increased the number of athletes participating in Unified sports, and our volunteer base tripled. Watching our community grow was one of the most rewarding experiences of my college career.
After graduation, I knew I wasn’t done. In May 2025, I joined Special Olympics Massachusetts full-time as the Manager of Donor Engagement. I’ve been fortunate to experience this organization from every angle - as a volunteer, a Unified partner, a student leader, and now a staff member.
Special Olympics is about more than sports. It’s about inclusion, and creating spaces where athletes of all abilities are valued, celebrated, and given the opportunities they deserve. Therefore, I’m running for the athletes across Massachusetts so they can continue to access year-round sports, and experience the joy that comes from being part of a team.
If you’re able to support my run with a donation, I would be so grateful. Every dollar helps continue the mission of inclusion and provides endless opportunities for athletes and families across our state.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
