My Story…

I’m running the Falmouth Road Race again this year for Tommy’s Place Foundation!


Tommy’s Place holds a very special place in my heart. They hosted my Kindergarten student, Emmanuel, and his family for a weeklong vacation as he battled cancer. After seeing first hand how cancer affects the family of a young child, I can attest to how meaningful and special a retreat like this can be. 


I’m honored to be running for Tommy’s Place Foundation and helping them provide for families going through cancer treatment. Please consider donating to this wonderful cause and helping me reach my goal by race day, August 16! Thank you so much for your support!

Tommy's Place Provides Over 100 Free Vacations Per Year on Cape Cod!

Tommy's Place owns and operates two 10+ bedroom year-round magical vacation homes for kids fighting cancer.  The homes are located in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, visits for a one week, free of charge, dream vacation to relax, make memories and most importantly have FUN!

Tommy's Place homes are equipped with inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theatres, home taverns, arts + crafts rooms, music rooms, chef's kitchens, and much, much more.  A magical experience for the entire family! 
 
Since opening in July of 2021, nearly 300 families have vacationed at one of the Tommy's Place homes. In 2024, Tommy's Place began offering 104 magical vacations per year at its two vacation homes. Tommy's Place receives guest referrals from 11 New England children's hospitals and all families are placed through a lottery system. Guests are aged 3-17, actively being treated for pediatric cancer, and living permanently and full-time in New England.
