My Story…
This is my first time running the Falmouth Road Race, and will be my longest race to date! As a lifelong Cape Cod vacationer, I’ve always been amazed by these runners and their philanthropic contributions. I’m proud to be running for the Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England (SBAGNE), which aims “to build a better and brighter future for all those impacted by Spina Bifida.”
My personal connection to the association is through my friends Nicol and Jakob. Nicol is a fierce advocate for accessibility and inclusivity, and serves on the SBAGNE Board of Directors. Jakob encouraged me to run this race with him… although he is much faster than me!
I’m excited to run the 2026 Falmouth Road Race for SBAGNE! Thank you in advance for your contributions!
Description
Thank you for supporting the Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England.
This tiny, but mighty, organization does incredible work providing resources, advocacy, education, and community for the estimated 4,400 individuals and families living with Spina Bifida in all 6 New England states. Due to the dedication of all of our runners and rollers, as well as the generous support of our donors, SBAGNE can provide:
- One welcome package to a family newly diagnosed with Spina Bifida ($25)
- One care package for an individual in-hospital via our "Snowflake Network" ($50)
- Help a family make valuable connections during one of our regional "Meet Your Neighbor" events ($100)
- One Empowerment Grant for an individual with Spina Bifida to try a new experience ($250)
