My Story…
In December 2018, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Today, I am grateful to say I am cancer-free and a seven-year survivor. But cancer has shaped my life in more ways than I ever expected.
Cancer is not just part of my story; it surrounds so many people I love and that are near and dear to my heart. I have seen the fear, the strength, the heartbreak, and the resilience up close.
As both a patient and caregiver at UMass Memorial Health, I understand firsthand how critical it is that the Cancer Center has the resources, technology, and support needed to provide every patient the best possible chance to fight, survive and to thrive.
Running Falmouth is my way of giving back. It is my way to honor those we’ve lost, to stand beside those who are bravely fighting, and to ensure UMass Memorial Cancer Center is the best place to give and receive care.
I run for my dad. I run for my friends and family. I run for every survivor. I run for everyone continuing to fight. I run for hope.
Thank you for supporting me, supporting UMass Memorial's Cancer Center and for helping to make a difference.
