Almost nine years ago, I chose recovery over addiction. 

Today, I started training and honestly, it gives me the most grateful, and humbling feeling in my heart.

Recovery gave me my life back, and now I'm running to support Recovery Without Walls, an organization that helps people find strength and support on their own recovery journeys.

Recovery is possible.

Healing is possible.

And no one should have to fight alone.  This is a beautiful opportunity for me to be a voice for those struggling right now and give back to the very community that helped save my life. 

As someone in recovery, this journey means everything to me. Every step I take represents the battles fought, the strength it took to keep going, and the hope that recovery is possible.
