My Story…
It’s that time of year again where I beg my friends and family to donate to support the best organizations on Cape :)
This year, I’ve chosen to run in support of Heroes In Transition. As many of you know my son’s father is not only a great dad but a veteran. He has worked with many organizations and HIT is one of the top recommended providing vital support to veterans and their families right here on Cape Cod.
The donations goes directly to helping our veterans who are transitioning back to civilian life. The goal is to get soliders home safe and keep them safe after their military careers have ended. Suicide rates are the second cause of death in veterans. As a nurse who worked in addiction and mental health for years, I saw first hand how veterans have struggled with depression, PTSD, and addiction. Please donate or share on social media to help this organization continue to do the work they do.
Thank you!
