Why I'm running in support of AAFA New England

We are so excited to run our third Falmouth Road Race on behalf AAFA. It's an amazing organization that has helped us through our food allergy journey over the last 15 years.

I was diagnosed with life threatening food allergies at 9 months old and then asthma when I was 2. It's been challenging for myself and my family but with the education and support of AAFA we knew we were not alone.

We are excited that AAFA continues to partner with the Food Allergy Buddy Program at Mass General, a mentorship program that partners high school aged (mentors) with elementary and middle school aged kids who have food allergies. I have been participating in this program since it first started in 2018 and am so glad to be a mentor again this year and help kids like me feel better about themselves! This is an incredible program and has helped me feel safe, confident and empowered with my food allergies.  Here is the link to a story about the program (and me) -

Thank you so much for your support! We appreciate any donations you would be willing to give!
