My Story…
This year I am proud to be running for the Bishstrong Foundation, which helps those affected by spinal cord injuries and paralysis live a more independent lifestyle by contributing to the purchases of adaptive equipment.
The foundation is ran by my friend, DJ Bishop, and his wonderful parents Sue and Dave. I have received the pleasure of becoming friends with DJ through Ryan and Aubrianne Feeney and have watched him continuously get stronger over the years. He has become such an inspiration to me as he shows up everyday with determination, discipline, and a mindset that refuses to quit!
This race is my way of supporting DJ's mission and acknowledging the impact he has made on so many. His positive attitude, resilience, and dedication to others is unwavering and deserves to be recognized. Any amount donated is appreciated and I thank you for helping give back to such a wonderful cause. Here's to Bishstrong and those it graciously serves!
Description
The Bishstrong Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization which aims to inspire and encourage individuals with spinal cord injuries and those living with paralysis to remain active. Our foundation provides resources aimed at helping individuals to become more independent and lead healthy fulfilling lifestyles. Through fundraising we provide financial assistance grants to assist in the purchase of vitally necessary adaptive equipment.
