Help Monica raise money

On August 16th I will be running my 6th Falmouth Road Race and am excited to be doing it for a 5th consecutive year with the Heart Warrior Foundation! The HWF is a nonprofit that has set out to help children affected by Congenital Heart Defects (CHD) and their families. All donations will directly benefit the Heart Center at Boston Children’s Hospital which helps fund advancements in research to improve the health and quality of life outcomes of CHD patients, supports the Heart Warrior families to make inpatient hospital stays less stressful, and helps continuing education for the invaluable nurses at their side. The foundation also has a “Healing with Happiness” program to give families of Heart Warriors a chance to have a joyful outing away from the hospital, whether it’s tickets to Legoland or a Sox game, or even helping add a furry friend to the family.
