I'm "Running for Willie"
I’m so excited to run Falmouth this year for The Willie Fund! The race itself has always been special to me but this year takes on new meaning. In January of this year, my mother received the diagnosis of advanced Merkel Cell Carcinoma, a rare and aggressive form of skin cancer with an unknown primary. While the cancer itself is very rare, we found a great team of Head & Neck cancer specialists in Boston who began treatment almost immediately. I’ve seen first hand how private donors and fundraising efforts like these help to fund the research that in turn save lives. Each dollar supports another new study which becomes another treatment option which in turn becomes another chance at life for a cancer patient.
Thank you in advance for your support!
