My Story…
Running for my Dad.
I'm running with the Parkinson’s Champions in the historic Falmouth Road Race to raise funds and awareness about PD.
Watching my father live with PD the past couple of years hasn’t been easy. What’s crazy about PD is that it affects everyone different but the one thing that people living with PD can do to keep the disease from progressing faster, is to exercise.
Every step I will take as I’m running on August 16th is a constant reminder to keep moving … for my Dad, for everyone living with PD and to raise awareness.
This is for you Dad. I love you!
Description
I'm ready to run.
I'm running to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Champions. I'm challenging myself to run the marathon to support the Parkinson’s Foundation.
The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. Studies show that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise along with medication, can significantly improve quality of life for people living with Parkinson's. We run and will continue to run for people with Parkinson's because this disease not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Every dollar counts, thank you for your support!
