My Story…

“In 2003, my life was measured in inches and percentages. After being crushed by 10,000 pounds of granite stone slabs, I was left with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) that most people don't survive. But survival was just the first mile.

Living with a TBI means navigating a world that looks the same but feels completely different. It's a journey of learning to speak again, managing new emotions, and fighting to reclaim your own mind. I spent years in silence, but I’ve realized that my miracle isn't just for me—it’s to show others that there is much worth fighting for, even in the darkest moments.

I am running this road race for those still in the thick of that recovery. I’m raising funds for the Brain Injury Association of America to ensure that TBI survivors and their families have the support and resources they need to bridge the gap from 'surviving' to 'thriving'.

I’m putting my 'titanium' to the test, so others don’t have to run their race alone. Will you support my run with a donation of $2,000?"

Description

Thank you for coming to my page to make a donation toward my efforts to support the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts (BIA-MA)!

BIA-MA strives to create a better future for all those affected by brain injury. The purpose of the organization is to educate the public on the risk and impact of brain injury, to promote programs that educate and prevent those injuries, to advocate for improved legislation, and to offer support and resources to individuals with brain injuries, their caregivers, and their families.

Together, we are the VOICE OF BRAIN INJURY!
