My Story....
On August 16th I'll stand at the starting line of the Falmouth Road Race with gratitude in my heart and a purpose far greater than simply reaching the finish line. Every step I take will be in honor of the courageous individuals and families living with Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy also known as FSHD. It is a relentless disease that slowly steals muscle strength, independence, and dreams, yet can never take away hope.
I've learned that the greatest victories in life aren't measured by metals or finish times. They're measured by the lives we touch and the hope we create. By supporting the FSHD society, you are helping fun groundbreaking research, accelerate the search for new treatments, and move us closer to the day when no family has to hear the words, there is no cure. I can't run this race alone. Every donation no matter the size, becomes another step toward a future where FHD is no longer defining anyones life. Together, we can transform compassion into action, hope into progress, and determination into a cure.
Description
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I’m running with Team FSHD to support the FSHD Society and everyone living with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD).
FSHD is a progressive muscle-wasting disease, and it affects entire families—not just the person diagnosed. That’s why I’m choosing to show up, put in the miles, and ask for support. Every donation to my page helps accelerate research toward treatments and a cure, while also strengthening programs that support and empower individuals and families today.
If you’re able to give, thank you. Your support means more than a number—it’s hope, progress, and a reminder that no one has to face FSHD alone.
