I'm raising money to help people and families with autism live life to the fullest!
Hi, I’m Jocelyn Klofas, and I’m honored to be running my 2nd Falmouth Road Race and my 4th race with Dougie’s Team for Autism.
Running has become such a meaningful part of my life, especially over the past few years. I ran the 2023 Boston Marathon just 7.5 months postpartum with my daughter, and returned again for the 2025 Boston Marathon as a support runner, 10 months postpartum after my son was born. I also had the opportunity to run the 2025 Falmouth Road Race, and I’m so excited to be back again this year.
I’m a proud mom of two little ones (ages 3.5 and 2), and balancing motherhood, teaching, and training has been one of the most rewarding challenges of my life.
By day, I am a special education teacher with Boston Public Schools, where I’ve worked for the past 10 years. I currently teach in the NExT program, supporting young adults ages 18–22 with moderate disabilities, including autism, as they build independence and transition into adulthood. My students inspire me every single day, and they are a huge part of why this cause is so important to me.
Running for Dougie’s Team is more than just crossing a finish line—it’s about raising awareness, supporting individuals with autism, and giving back to a community that means so much to me both personally and professionally.
Beyond this race, I have big running goals—I’m working toward completing a marathon in all 50 states and running all of the World Marathon Majors, with the Berlin Marathon coming up this September.
Thank you so much for supporting me, Dougie’s Team, and the autism community. Every donation truly makes a difference!

Former NFL Quarterback, Doug Flutie, and his wife Laurie started the Doug Flutie, Jr. Flutie Foundation for Autism in 1998 after their son, Dougie, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Their personal experience of raising a son on the autism spectrum inspired them to help others on an equally long and challenging journey. Over its 27-year history, the Flutie Foundation has distributed over $25 million to schools and organizations that provide clinical therapies, respite services, recreational programs, social skills training, job supports and more for people affected by autism.
The Flutie Foundation also provides education technology tools, adaptive camp scholarships, safety equipment, and direct family support through its special programs. The Flutie Foundation’s newest initiative, Flutie Spectrum Enterprises, will help create businesses to employ adults with autism.
