My Story…
On Sunday August 16th, I’m honored to be running the Falmouth Road Race as part of Team PF3, supporting the Peter Frates ALS Foundation.
You likely remember the global phenomenon of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge back in 2014, which raised over a quarter of a billion dollars for ALS research. It was Pete Frates who co-founded and sparked that movement, forever changing the trajectory of the fight against this disease. Today, his foundation continues that fierce momentum by focusing on three vital pillars: Care, Cure, and Educate.
CARE: Providing crucial financial assistance directly to ALS patients and their families to cover the overwhelming, often prohibitive costs of specialized home care and essential medical equipment not covered by insurance.
CURE: Supporting groundbreaking neurodegenerative research to finally find a cure for ALS.
EDUCATE: Raising global awareness and educating the public to ensure ALS families are never forgotten or left to fight alone.
I would be so grateful for your support as I lace up my running shoes to make a meaningful difference. Every donation, no matter the size, directly fuels these pillars and helps us continue Pete’s incredible legacy.
