My Story…
Hi! My name is Noreen McNamara. I am a woman in recovery. This will be my fourth year running the Falmouth Road Race with the team at Recovery Without Walls (RWW).
Without a shadow of a doubt, I would not be here today without the love and support of RWW's incredible services—counseling, acupuncture, women’s support groups, aerial yoga, educational funding, and so much more. All this is offered free to women recovering from substance abuse and related trauma.
These life-changing services are available across Cape Cod, Vermont, and Maine.
On August 16, race day, I plan to cross the finish line alongside one of the strongest women I know, Deb Dougherty. Deb has stood by me at my rock bottom. We will walk hand in hand, showing that no woman has to suffer from substance abuse alone.
If you feel moved to support this mission, I would be deeply grateful for any donation—every dollar helps provide these services to women who need them most. Please accept my gratitude for helping to change lives.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Noreen
