My Story…
I’m proud to be running the Falmouth Road Race for the 4th time this year!
For the first time, I’m running in support of the Parkinson’s Foundation, a cause that is personal to my family. During the pandemic, my aunt, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Watching someone so close to me face this has given me a whole new perspective and a strong motivation to take action.
This past fall, my entire extended family came together to participate in the Michael J. Fox Foundation Boston Run/Walk, raising money to support critical research and bring hope to those affected by Parkinson’s.
I’m continuing that effort now by running this year’s race to raise both awareness and funds for Parkinson’s. Every donation, no matter the size, helps support research, care, and ultimately a cure.
If you’re able to contribute or share, it would mean so much to me and my family!
Description
I'm ready to run.
I'm running to raise funds and awareness with the Parkinson's Champions. I'm challenging myself to run the marathon to support the Parkinson’s Foundation.
The Parkinson's Foundation makes life better for people living with Parkinson's disease by improving care and advancing research toward a cure. Studies show that 2.5 hours of weekly exercise along with medication, can significantly improve quality of life for people living with Parkinson's. We run and will continue to run for people with Parkinson's because this disease not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Every dollar counts, thank you for your support!
