I'm raising money to help people and families with autism live life to the fullest!
Every child deserves to be understood—and that’s why this cause is so personal to me.
My children are both on the autism spectrum. They may need extra support navigating everyday expectations that others don’t think twice about. Transitions, school expectations, social interactions, and managing big emotions—can take an incredible amount of effort. As a parent, you learn quickly that there is no “one size fits all” path. You advocate, you adapt, and you celebrate victories that others might not even notice.
From the outside, things don’t always look difficult. But behind the scenes, there is constant work—supporting, advocating, adjusting, and helping my child navigate a world that isn’t always designed for how they think and feel.
This journey has changed me as a parent. It has taught me patience in ways I never knew I needed, pushed me to advocate in rooms I never expected to be in, and shown me just how important understanding and support truly are.
It has also shown me my child’s incredible strengths—their resilience, their unique perspective, and the way they experience the world with such depth and honesty.
That’s why I’m raising money for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism.
This organization provides critical resources, programs, and support to families who are doing their very best to help their children thrive.
Because at every level of the spectrum, support matters, understanding matters, community matters.
If you’re able to donate, know that you are helping children feel seen, supported, and valued for exactly who they are.
Thank you for being part of something that truly makes a difference.

Former NFL Quarterback, Doug Flutie, and his wife Laurie started the Doug Flutie, Jr. Flutie Foundation for Autism in 1998 after their son, Dougie, was diagnosed with autism at the age of three. Their personal experience of raising a son on the autism spectrum inspired them to help others on an equally long and challenging journey. Over its 27-year history, the Flutie Foundation has distributed over $25 million to schools and organizations that provide clinical therapies, respite services, recreational programs, social skills training, job supports and more for people affected by autism.
The Flutie Foundation also provides education technology tools, adaptive camp scholarships, safety equipment, and direct family support through its special programs. The Flutie Foundation’s newest initiative, Flutie Spectrum Enterprises, will help create businesses to employ adults with autism.
