Welcome to my 2026 ASICS Falmouth Road Race Page!
I’ll be running my first Falmouth Road Race this year in honor of my good friend Bethany Shea who has been battling brain cancer for the past 7+ years. Through complications during the birth of her son in 2018 doctors found and removed a tumor(grade 2 glioma) with follow up monitoring since. More recently last July due to increasing health complications doctors found her tumor had grown and Bethany underwent her second craniotomy. She has completed 33 rounds of radiation and looks ahead to a full year of continuous treatments. Taking this on while still being a rockstar mom, wife and friend is truly inspirational. I’ll never forget what she told me following her second surgery. “I’m not going anywhere” That determination is what we all need. I’ll be carrying that with me on race day.
She is my motivation to raise awareness and funding for astrocytoma and all who are affected by brain tumors. I’m proud to be a member of the Gray Nation Endurance Team striving towards hope, community and a cure.
