Running Miles for Kids Who Need It Most
This August, I’ll be lacing up my sneakers and running the ASICS Falmouth Road Race, one of the premier running events of the summer season, drawing an international field of runners along an iconic 7-mile seaside course, and I’m doing it for a cause close to my heart: South Shore Stars.
South Shore Stars serves over 1,300 children ages 0–18 annually, providing child care, preschool, afterschool, and other child development programs for families south of Boston. Many of the families they serve face serious challenges, and Stars creates a safe, nurturing place where kids can simply be kids. Every dollar you donate goes directly toward programs that give South Shore children a stronger start in life. Whether you can give $10 or $100, it makes a real difference to a real kid. This year, I’m proud to be running the Falmouth Road Race as part of Team Stars, raising funds to support South Shore Stars and the children and families they serve across the South Shore.
South Shore Stars provides high-quality early education, academic enrichment, and family support services that help more than 1,300 children, youth, and families each year learn, grow, and thrive. Every dollar raised helps expand access to education, specialized academic support, and critical family services.
