I am thrilled to run the Falmouth Road Race with the MitoAction Team for the second year. I run for my son who was diagnosed with mitochondrial disease at 5 years old and is now navigating its challenges in his twenties. Alongside us on this journey have been the love and support of family and friends, as well as dedicated medical professionals and educators. We are grateful for those who fight for understanding, awareness, advocacy and treatment in all the vast ways mito can present.
