I’m incredibly excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race again this year in support of The New England Center for Children (NECC), an inspiring organization dedicated to empowering individuals with autism through comprehensive care, education, and research.
I’m especially grateful to be able to combine my love for running with my passion for supporting NECC by taking on the Falmouth Road Race once again this year. Any and all donations go directly to this amazing organization, which gives so much back to its students and their families.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to partner with NECC in several meaningful ways. Through my role at Greenwood Industries, we collaborate with NECC’s vocational program by welcoming two students into our office each Tuesday. They assist with administrative tasks like filing, scanning, and shredding—providing valuable support to our team. Even more rewarding is watching these students grow, developing their communication abilities, confidence, and life skills over time. Being part of that journey has been incredibly fulfilling.
This January, I was also honored to be selected for NECC’s President’s Council Young Professionals Group. Our mission is to raise awareness of NECC’s global impact and engage the community in supporting its work. I’m proud to contribute through initiatives like the annual Art Show, 5K race, and our first-ever Cornhole Tournament this June.
Running the Falmouth Road Race is just one more way I’m grateful to support NECC and the amazing individuals and families they serve.

Every dollar raised by Team NECC runners will benefit the Annual Fund, which provides funding for costs not covered by tuition. These include student activities, individual student needs, off-campus activities, specialized technology, student equipment and materials, and vocational opportunities. The Annual Fund also bolsters staff development, research and training opportunities, as well as our DEI initiatives and employee resource groups.
