My beautiful baby Grand daughter, Haven Mae was diagnosed with CF before she was born, so we were able to prepare somewhat for her arrival. Even though she is doing remarkably well for someone with her condition, it is still uppermost on our minds that she has a life threatening condition. We are reminded daily of this with the respiratory and nebulizer treatments and the daily meds she has to take. Medical research has come so incredibly far that Haven can look forward to a much longer and healthier life than she would have 20 years ago, and every penny that goes towards further research is vitally important for this little child's and other CF patients quality of life.
