My Story…
We are two sisters running the Falmouth Road Race in honor of our mom, Ann, our greatest inspiration and driving force behind everything we do.
Our mom was a nurse who embodied compassion, strength, and selflessness in every aspect of her life. She cared deeply for her patients, her family, and her community, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. Today, her legacy lives on through the Massachusetts Nurses Honor Guard’s Ann O’s Watch, a tribute that continues to honor her life and the incredible profession she loved so much.
Running this race together is so meaningful to us. It’s a way to celebrate our mom, to feel close to her, and to carry her spirit forward with every mile. We are proud to run side by side, remembering the beautiful, kind, and selfless woman who shaped who we are today.
Through this journey, we are also raising funds to support nurses in Massachusetts, helping to provide scholarships and grants that empower the next generation of caregivers. This cause is deeply personal to us, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to give back to this community in our mom’s honor.
Thank you for supporting us, remembering our mom, and helping us make a difference.
With gratitude,
Roisin and AnnMarie
