My Story…
I'm so excited to run my second Falmouth Road Race in support of Schools on Wheels Massachusetts. As a former high school teacher in an urban school district where several of my students were experiencing homeless or poverty, I am passionate about increasing access to educational resources to students who need them the most. SOWMA's mission to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students experiencing homelessness and poverty really resonates with me and the work I know needs to be done to improve equity in education. I'm incredibly passionate about this cause, and honored to be running again as a part of team SOWMA.
Description
I am running for School on Wheels of Massachusetts to bring educational programs and opportunity to children and youth experiencing homelessness in Massachusetts! Your donation assures that students have access to tutoring, mentoring and customized backpacks, books and school supplies.
