I’m honored to be running the Falmouth Road Race for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention! This cause is deeply personal to me and closely aligned with the work I do every day. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to run on behalf of AFSP. Having been affected by suicide personally, and in my roles as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and school adjustment counselor, I witness firsthand the importance of awareness, access to care, and early intervention.
Supporting AFSP is a meaningful way to help reduce stigma, honor those we’ve lost, and support those who are struggling. Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund research, education, advocacy, and support programs that save lives and bring hope to individuals and families impacted by suicide. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide, including those who have experienced a loss. AFSP creates a culture that's smart about mental health through public education and community programs, develops suicide prevention through research and advocacy, and provides support for those affected by suicide.
