Help Lacey raise money

Hey! 

My name is Lacey, and on August 16th, I’m going to run The Falmouth Road Race on behalf of the Herren Project, a nonprofit organization that provides free resources and support for those battling with substance abuse. It also provides education for families with a loved one going through the addiction/ recovery process. They also focus on community wellness initiatives to teach ways to cope with life’s challenges before even choosing to pick up a substance.

This organization means a lot to me because I watched my late father battle his drug addiction my whole life. I have seen first hand the pain it caused him, and the ripple effect it had on my family. I chose to forgive and heal from my experience and come to a place of understanding the root cause of his addiction. 

He was a human being that I loved, looked up to and respected. He was more than his disease, and I will honor him by continuing to educate myself and support others who may be struggling.
