My Story…
I'm running this summer in the Falmouth Road Race on August 16th, 2026 as a charity runner on The Shawn Thornton Foundation team to punch out Parkinson's Disease and Cancer. I'm running in memory of my grandfather, Howard Howe, who we lost in 1996 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. Grandpa experienced many challenges with early diagnosis of Parkinson's, as caregivers had to do a lot of figuring out with medications and treatments to understand the disease. Tremors persisted for years and stole his strength and ability to do the things he loved like golfing and woodworking. My grandmother spent many years caring for him. This disease robs families of loved ones everyday and I need your support to help The Shawn Thornton Foundation team raise money for those affected by the disease and their loved ones.
