My Story…
This August, I’m running the 7-mile ASICS Falmouth Road Race to support the Bishstrong Foundation — a 501(c)(3) that helps people living with spinal cord injuries and paralysis stay active, independent, and strong. What drew me to Bishstrong is what they actually do with the money raised. They provide grants for adaptive exercise equipment — the kind of gear that insurance won’t cover but that’s vital for someone’s physical and mental well-being after a life-changing injury. It’s not just equipment. It’s mobility, dignity, and the chance to keep moving forward.I’ll be honest — 7 miles is going to push me. I’m not a regular runner. But every mile I run is nothing compared to what the people Bishstrong supports face every day. If you can chip in $25, $50, or whatever feels right, 100% of it goes toward equipment that changes lives. Thank you for being part of this with me.
