Running the Falmouth Road Race this year means more to me than just crossing a finish line. I'm so excited to be running for TEAM NOLAN under the HERREN PROJECT, carrying the memory of Nolan with me every step of the way.
The Herren project is a non profit organization that provides free resources and support for the treatment, recovery, and prevention of substance abuse disorders. They provide schools and communities resources to prevent the misuse of drugs and alcohol. The Herren Project promotes healthy choices, bringing positive awareness to the disease of addiction and empower people to cope with life's challenges substance free.
Nolan was a big part of my life since we were babies and someone who meant so much to everyone around him. I will always hold onto him and being able to run in his memory gives me motivation and purpose.
I'm proud to honor him in a way that reflects what he did, show love, and kindness to others and through the Herren Project I'm able to support an organization that provides resources for prevention, treatment, and recovery for those struggling with substance use.
My goal is to raise $1,500 to support this incredible cause and to continue Nolan's legacy. Any donation big or small truly makes a difference in two meaningful ways. Thank you so much for your support it means more to me than I can put into words!
