This is my 3rd year running the Falmouth Road Race with Team NF Northeast to help raise funds to help end NF (Neurofibromatosis). Even with my 45 year old legs I know I can cross the finish line for my girl, Ari!
I was so happy to have surpassed my goal last year and hope to do the same again this time around - my goal this year is to raise $5,000 to help provide resources and fund research.
One of my favorite people in the world, my niece Arianna, was born with NF. While we are very lucky that she has had relatively mild symptoms it does effect her everyday. Our little rockstar goes to multiple therapies weekly and regular doctor’s appointments, all with a smile on her face (and maybe a very strong side eye). Thank you in advance for any contribution to this cause to help end NF.
NF refers to a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on the nerves.
