Help Anabella raise money

Hi everyone!! This will be my third year running the Falmouth Road Race! Throughout the last two years, running for Be Like Brit has been so much fun and I have loved being able to fundraise for them as well (THANK YOU to everyone who has donated or have shown any support in previous years!). As I mentioned in the previous years, Be Like Brit has had a lasting impact on me since my service trip to Haiti in high school, and that is why I continue to show my support for them this year by running the Falmouth Road Race again.

For those who don’t know, Be Like Brit is an amazing non-profit based out of Worcester, MA that does pivotal work for the children and family’s in Haiti. After losing their daughter in the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, the founders of Be Like Brit honored her memory by building an orphanage, carrying out her wish to give back to the children and community she cared deeply about.

The orphanage is now home to many children who were impacted by the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. They not only give these children a roof over their head, but they also provided them with a variety of crucial resources to help foster growth; whether that’s providing them with quality education, proper nutrition, clothing, hygiene, and many more aspects of healthy development. Be Like Brit also does a wonderful job at engaging in the community by building homes for Haitian families in need. As someone in the education field and as someone who advocates for the well being of children, my values strongly align with what Be Like Brit stands for. Running again for a such an impactful organization is a such an honor for me.
