This August I will run the Falmouth Road Race in support of the Buzzards Bay Coalition.
I am honored to support a cause that was important to my grandfather Brian O’Rourke. As volunteer water quality tester my grandfather worked to support the coalition to preserve the beautiful waters just down the road from his cape cod home. My grandfather passed away last May and supporting a cause that was always so important to him will make this run very special.
I have always loved the beach and spending time on the water. The Buzzards Bay Coalition is dedicated to monitoring and supporting efforts to preserve the waters and ecosystem.
The famous Falmouth Road Race is 7 miles along the shore of cape cod and a run my parents have run many times. This will be my first time running and I am thrilled to have this opportunity.

I have set a goal to raise one thousand five hundred dollars. I would love to surpass that !

On Sunday, August 16th, I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race with Team Buzzards Bay. Together, we'll cover 7 miles and raise funds to support the Buzzards Bay Coalition, demonstrating our dedication to protecting clean water in Buzzards Bay and beyond.
