My Story…

Hello friends and family,

I did something a little crazy. 

I signed up for the Falmouth Road Race! It’s a 7-mile run this August, and if you know me, you know I’m not exactly a runner. This will definitely take commitment and training, but I’m excited for the challenge.

I am inspired every day by my 7-year-old daughter, Giovanna. She has faced every challenge with remarkable determination and bravery. She has endured so much for such a little girl but refuses to let it define her. Now, three years post–BMT, she is thriving. She smiles every day and continues to move forward with strength and resilience.

I am running to support Tommy’s Place, which is incredibly special to my family. Our family had the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving there, and it was truly an amazing experience. Our extended family joined us, and we filled the house with love and gratitude. Having a space where we could gather and celebrate together meant so much to us. We made incredible memories at Tommy’s Place, and I want to help ensure that other families can have that same opportunity.

My goals is to raise $3,000 to celebrate 3 years post BMT!

Tommy's Place Provides Over 100 Free Vacations Per Year on Cape Cod!

Tommy's Place owns and operates two 10+ bedroom year-round magical vacation homes for kids fighting cancer.  The homes are located in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, visits for a one week, free of charge, dream vacation to relax, make memories and most importantly have FUN!

Tommy's Place homes are equipped with inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theatres, home taverns, arts + crafts rooms, music rooms, chef's kitchens, and much, much more.  A magical experience for the entire family! 
 
Since opening in July of 2021, nearly 300 families have vacationed at one of the Tommy's Place homes. In 2024, Tommy's Place began offering 104 magical vacations per year at its two vacation homes. Tommy's Place receives guest referrals from 11 New England children's hospitals and all families are placed through a lottery system. Guests are aged 3-17, actively being treated for pediatric cancer, and living permanently and full-time in New England.
