My Story…

Being born with spina bifida has shaped my life, but it has never set my limits. From a young age, I have faced challenges that pushed me to be strong and determined. At times, I have had to work harder just to keep moving forward. Those experiences have taught me how to stay focused and keep going.

The Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England has played an important role in my journey. Their support and encouragement have helped me grow and given me a community that reminds me I am not alone. Because of them, I have been able to reach goals I once thought were out of reach.

Track and racing have become a big part of my life. When I first considered joining, I had support from a teacher who saw what I was capable of and encouraged me to give it a try. Now as my coach, that same support continues to push me forward. As one of the only para athletes in the state competing in track, the experience has helped me build confidence, strength, and determination. Every practice and every race shows me what I am capable of and motivates me to keep improving.

Running the Falmouth Road Race means a lot to me. It is more than just a race. It is a chance to show how far I have come and to support a community that has supported me. It is also an opportunity to help others who are facing challenges like mine.

I would really appreciate your support as I take on this race. Every donation helps the Spina Bifida Association continue its work and support people like me. Thank you for being part of this and for supporting my journey.
