This year, I get the honor to be running with Punch 4 Parkinson’s! Parkinson’s Disease is caused when brain cells that make dopamine, a chemical that coordinates movement, stop working or dies.

 Witnessing Parkinson's disease firsthand has given me a greater appreciation for the physical and emotional challenges it can create, as well as the resilience required to navigate its day-to-day effects. This race is more than just miles on a course, it's an opportunity to raise awareness, support research, and help fund programs that make a difference for individuals and families impacted by Parkinson’s.
