My Story…
Running for the Ones Who Can't
Hey everyone! I'm Koda, a biomedical engineering student at Wentworth Institute of Technology, a lifelong pet lover, and a runner of six years. This summer I'm lacing up for something bigger than a personal record. I'm running the Falmouth Road Race to raise money for the MSPCA Angell, and I'd love your support.
The Cause
MSPCA Angell is one of Boston's most respected animal welfare organizations, providing shelter, medical care, and advocacy for animals who have nowhere else to turn. They rescue animals from neglect and abuse, find them loving homes, and fight for their wellbeing every single day. Simply put, they give animals a second chance at life.
Why It Matters to Me
I grew up with a rescue dog, and honestly it changed my life. There's something about an animal that's been through hardship and still wags its tail the moment you walk through the door. These animals didn't choose their situation, but with the right support they flourish. Adopting a rescue is one of the best things a family can do, and funding organizations like MSPCA Angell is how we make that possible for more animals.
The Ask
Every dollar you donate goes directly toward sheltering, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need. Whether you give $5 or $50, it makes a real difference in the life of an animal waiting for their family to find them.
The Commitment
I'll be tracking my training and race day progress online at @kman4157, so follow along for the journey. I'm putting in the miles and all I ask is that you help me make them count.
Let's Do This Together
These animals deserve a voice, and I want to be that for them on race day. Thank you so much for reading, for sharing this with someone who might care, and for any support you're able to give. It means the world to me and even more to them.
