My Story…
Hi everyone! I am so excited to share that I’ll be running the 2026 Falmouth Road Race for Hospitality Homes (HH). This will be my third time tackling these seven miles, but this year feels particularly special.
If you know me, you know that I care deeply about Boston and standing up for what is right. I’ve always believed in looking out for those facing the toughest hurdles—a drive that stems from my own background and the belief that everyone deserves to be treated with respect, regardless of their circumstances.
I first heard about HH through a good friend, and after hearing the stories of the families they serve, I knew I had to do more than just listen. I am proud to say that I am currently a volunteer and a future Board member for this incredible organization.
The Mission: Housing is Healthcare
We all know Boston has the best medical care in the world, but it is also one of the most expensive cities to live in. For a family traveling here for life-saving treatment, the cost of a hotel can be a crushing barrier.
Hospitality Homes steps in when it matters most by providing:
- Free or subsidized housing for loved ones of those receiving medical care in Boston.
- Support for all procedures, from organ transplants and cancer treatments to complex surgeries.
- A focus on healing, ensuring that a family’s sole focus is on recovery—not the stress of a $400-a-night hotel bill.
I’ve stepped up to help raise the vital funds needed to keep these doors open. I’m running to make sure "world-class care" is actually accessible to everyone, not just those with deep pockets. Please consider donating to my campaign. Every dollar goes directly toward keeping families together during their most critical times.
Description
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm so proud to be a member of TEAM HOSPITALITY HOMES in this year's Falmouth Road Race!
Your support means the world to me and will help continue to provide housing for patients and families traveling to Boston for critical medical treatment.
With the prohibitively expensive costs of local hotels- averaging $260 per night- and the lack of sufficient hospital- sponsored housing, many patients struggle with what to do, balancing these and other out-of-pocket expenses with the already high cost of responding to a complex or chronic illness.
Your donation is fully tax-deductible, as Hospitality Homes is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
