My Story…
I’m proud to be running the Falmouth Road Race in support of the Boston Bulldogs Running Club.
Founded in 2015, the Boston Bulldogs are more than a running club—they are a lifeline for individuals in recovery from substance use disorder, as well as their families, friends, and supporters. Through more than 250 free group runs each year, they remove barriers to participation by providing coaching, running gear, transportation, wellness programs, and race entries, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to experience the physical and emotional benefits of running.
Their impact extends far beyond the roads and trails. The Bulldogs’ Junior Bulldogs program gives at-risk youth—many whose lives have been affected by addiction—a positive outlet, supportive mentors, and healthy coping skills. They also partner with hospitals, recovery centers, and community organizations to spread hope, reduce stigma, and support those impacted by addiction and homelessness.
As a Bulldog and someone whose life has been transformed by recovery, I’ve experienced the power of this community firsthand. Every mile I run in Falmouth is a celebration of recovery and an opportunity to help others find the same hope, support, and sense of belonging that recovery and Boston Bulldogs have given me.

Description
We are honored to share the important mission and work of the Boston Bulldogs as our team gears up for the 2026 Falmouth Road Race. This opportunity allows us to raise awareness about addiction and work toward the healing and connection that so many of us need.
Through running and wellness programs, we build a safe, anonymous community for individuals adversely affected by addiction. Our community supports individuals in recovery, their families, friends, caregivers, and health professionals, to create healthy, connected lives.
Beyond the financial contributions, this also unites us around a shared purpose, creating a positive and collaborative atmosphere. The Bulldogs combine fun and community that results lasting change.
