Help Tori raise money

I’m running this race for the Alzheimer's Association because this disease has touched my family in a very real way.

I’ve watched relatives I love be affected by Alzheimer's disease and Dementia, and it is one of the hardest things to witness. It changes people slowly, in ways you cannot stop or fix, and that is what makes it so difficult. There is no clear way to make it better, no moment where you can step in and solve it. What you can do is show up and spend time with them and hold onto the moments you still have.

Even with that, there is a sense of helplessness, like you are doing what you can but wishing you could do more.

Running this race is my way of doing something more. It gives me a sense of purpose and a bit of control in a situation that often feels out of my hands. Being able to raise awareness and funds, and to run on behalf of my relatives, means I am not just standing by, I am moving forward for them.

This race is for them, and for every family that understands what this feels like.
