My Story…
I am honored to be running the Falmouth Road Race in support of the K9Kitt Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing financial assistance and critical care for law enforcement K9s in need.
This cause holds deep personal significance for me. My father served as a Canton police officer for 25 years, and through his service I developed a profound respect for the commitment, sacrifice, and integrity that define the law enforcement community. That respect extends not only to the officers themselves, but also to the K9 partners who serve alongside them with equal loyalty and bravery.
K9 units play an essential role in public safety, and the K9Kitt Foundation ensures these highly trained dogs receive the medical treatment and support they deserve, particularly in times of injury.
Your support of my run will directly contribute to this mission, helping provide vital resources for law enforcement K9s and the agencies that depend on them. I am truly grateful for your consideration and generosity in supporting this meaningful cause.
Description
The K9 Kitt Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 wast established in June of 2022. The K9 Kitt Foundation serves as a facilitator, connecting members of the public interested in providing support to K9 Teams around the country who work tirelessly to serve communities and their front-line policing partners who demonstrate a need for assistance. The foundation provides financial assistance to violently injured K9 teams around the United States, provides equipment, training and education as well as raising awareness about the dangers K9 teams face.
